T.Llewellyn Jones Solicitors was established 1937 and has a proven track record of offering an approachable and personal service, expert legal advice in specialist areas, value for money, efficiency, integrity and confidentiality. We are based in the town centre of Neath with a satellite office at Station Road Ystradgynlais, Swansea, practising under the name of Roger E.L. Thomas & Co. We act for both private and business clients. We provide a complete service to meet all of your legal needs in both English and Welsh languages. We are proud of the fact that around 80% of our business comes to us from existing clients and referrals.
T. Llewellyn Jones Solicitors have lawyers who continue to assist with the legal needs of both businesses and individuals. Sara Elizabeth Llewellyn Jones
Sara Llewellyn Jones is a director and senior partner of the firm. She qualified in 1969 having been articled to her father and has remained in the firm ever since. She has extensive experience in conveyancing, both commercial and domestic, probate, divorce and personal injury. She has undertaken high value divorce cases over a prolonged period, and has been appointed by the court to administer difficult probate disputes. She is also experienced in business leases, boundary disputes and landlord and tenant work.
John Alun Lloyd
John Alun Lloyd is a director, business partner and a member of our private client department. He has been working in this area since he qualified in 1981. He graduated from Aberystwyth University in 1977 and completed his articles with Swansea solicitors David and Roy Thomas. He is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Iwan Jeffreys
Iwan Jeffreys is a director, a business partner of the firm, and has a Masters Degree in Commercial Law. He has over 20 years experience dealing with wide and varied areas of the law including all aspects of litigation and property. He is a fluent Welsh speaker and would be content to conduct business in the Welsh language.
Emily Meredith Hardy
Emily is a director and partner of the Firm and is Sara Llewellyn Jones’ elder daughter. She graduated from Oxford University in 2001 and then trained at Magic Circle Firm, Freshfields, where she qualified in 2006. She moved to Lewis Silkin in 2015 and then became a partner and head of the Cardiff Real Estate Team. Emily joined TLJ in September 2024 and specialises in commercial and residential property.
Sian Harris
Sian Harris is a director and a solicitor in our private client department. She has over 20 years experience in this area, specialising in Residential Conveyancing, Wills, Probate and Court of protection work. She graduated in 1980 from Cardiff University and attended Guildford Law College before completing her articles with Layton’s Solicitors in Lincolns Inn. She is a fluent Welsh speaker and joined our law firm in 1989.
Stephen Williams
Stephen Williams is a director of the firm who qualified as a solicitor in 2012 having completed his training contract with the firm. He practices in several arears of law including: property, civil litigation, and wills and Probate. He acts for both individual and commercial clients in a wide range of property matters, including residential and commercial conveyancing; business leases; boundary disputes; and landlord and tenant disputes. His civil litigation practice specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence work, acting on behalf of clients in both low and high value claims. He also has experience of acting on behalf of bereaved families at Inquests.

Caroline Davies
Caroline Davies is a director of the firm who qualified as a solicitor in 2015. She attended the University of Birmingham and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law with distinction. Caroline has been working in our Children Law Department since she qualified and is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel which recognises solicitors with particular awareness, knowledge and expertise in this complex area of law.
Gregory Llewellyn
Gregory graduated from Aberystwyth University with LL,B (Hons) Law 2020. He then went on to simultaneously complete a LLM in Business Law and the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University in 2021. Gregory gained valuable experience working in law firms in Mid Wales and Cardiff City before joining this firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2022. Gregory completed his Training Contract at T Llewellyn Jones in 2024, specialising in Family Law.
Gregory brings a fresh perspective and a strong dedication to supporting clients through their legal challenges.
Hannah Evans
Hannah is an assistant solicitor within the children law department. She graduated from the University of South Wales and completed a Masters in Legal practice with a distinction in 2020. Hannah completed her training contract at T Llewellyn Jones and qualified as a Solicitor in 2024, specialising in both private and public law children matters.
Parking
Parking is available outside the Neath office after 5pm each evening and at Ystradgynlais for limited periods during the day.
Disabled Facilities
Access facilities to the office are available with a wheelchair and all clients can be seen on the ground floor.
